Conversion of the Polish National IG for HL7 CDA to DECOR format has started
Monday July 28th, 2014
The draft national implementation guide (IG) for HL7 CDA standard, published for review couple of months ago, is now being converted to the DECOR format. The current IG (version 0.9.8) covers three types of documents, which are going to be commonly exchanged between healtcare providers in electronic form: Drug prescription, Referral and Medical equipment prescription. These documents are planned to be stored in the national shared repository of clinical documents (Platform P1), that is under development run by CSIOZ (The National Centre for Healthcare Information Systems).
The DECOR format of Polish HL7 CDA IG will allow implementers to build and test their systems according to common standard implementation rules, based on easily accessible CDA templates.
The Polish IG in DECOR format will be ready by the end of August 2014.
