HL7 FHIR is one of the newest standards of interoperable exchange of clinical data and is getting popular pretty fast due to its implementability. It is not a competitor to HL7 CDA, which is a standard of clinical document – both standards have different scopes of use and coexist very well. All interested in HL7 FHIR standard are welcome to benefit from our training offer containing new one-day module “Basic Course on HL7 FHIR“.

Few weeks ago we have announced that iEHR.eu has launched Eddie. Now, we have a demo up and running so you can get your hands dirty with some HL7 CDA XMLs – check it out at www.geteddie.net – any question, do let us know. For those who missed the initial announcement – Eddie is a backend component you can embed in your IT system to have 100% HL7 CDA compliance with ease. No HL7 CDA expertise required, Eddie handles all the document editing and output XML formating. Of course its fully customizable on both UI (web form) and XML (output document) level. If you want to know more, contact us.
